I would have posted on the thread but it was locked-down before I could reply.

Some had wondered about the Frog kit of the Rotodyne so I did a search in my PAK-20 book.  Firstly, a quick idea on how the book works, it's split into two sections, first section lists all aircraft that had a model made of it (or a model-to-be-made of it) and are listed in alphabetical order for Aircraft Manufacturers.  The second half has all the kit manufacturers listed in alphabetical order which then has a comprehensive list for each.

In the Aircraft index, the only Rotodyne listed is the Airfix one (with a couple of obscure companies doing reboxing of it) but looking at the eBay listing that was posted I got a clue where it said a tube of Triang glue was included.  Looking under Tri-Ang/Frog (France) I found the box number (358P shown in the EB listing) for a Rotodyne but the scale is listed as 1/96 scale.  There's not one listed in Tri-Ang/Fron (NZ) though.  I had a quick look through the Frog listing and found the same box number and it was for a Rotodyne, but the scale is listed as 1/72 scale.  One or the other is wrong but I'm wondering if it is 1/96th scale because it's grouped in a number of other 1/96 scale airliners with box numbers that are very close or the next one up or down from it.

Can anyone actually say what scale it really is ?

Two options - we could wait and stump up ~300 quid the next one comes up on evilbay OR we could email the buyer of the last one and ask them to measure it for us.   Any volunteers to do so?
