The model swap is only done to files on your side, therefore the effect only takes place on your computer- you'll see your tank and those of everyone else in the modified form, but everyone else on their own computer will see your tank and theirs in the "stock" form.
To the individual soldiers, *everything* is a frontal assault!

Nice mod ! , never thought of that  ;D

WOT casualty here as well , been playing since Beta Testing and forked out for a Gold package when it went live at the beginning of the year , as Beta testers we got a free Sherman M4A2E4 , as part of the first Gold packages we got a US M6A2E1 , I also bough a Churchill ( my favourite tank at WOT ) and a Lowe as these things earn tons of cash per game - 30 grand and not hit anything lolz
My other favourites are the big headed KV-2 with either the 107 or one shot 152 gun , the KV-3 AND IS-3

You know, if the T1 HT can be armed with a 105mm derp gun I would have wanted it.  But it cannot, so I'm only making a temporary viz-mod in my M6 Heavy Tank entry.

T29 Heavy Tank armed with the upgraded turret and the massive 105mm gun.  It does give me a measure of reliably-hurting the likes of Tiger II and E-75, I'll give it that.  But at 1K credits per AP shell...... every mouse click is felt in so many ways...... and missing too many shots can result in a net loss of credits even in a winning match.

T-34-85 upgraded to T-34-100 standard.  Another curiosity purchase.  A sniper tank that would be put in a disadvantage if you are in a team so negligent as to leaving its flanks open......  I am kinda disappointed that the barrel visual model does not have a muzzle brake since the one successful real-life prototype configuration is equipped with it to keep the gun recoil to a manageable level.
