Hello!

Recently, I've finished Metal Gear Rex model. It's resin and with help of LEGO Bionicle parts I made it articulated. Parts vere poor casted but I managed to replace some of them and put Rex together. And here it is...

Very nicely done. Metal Gears never really excited me as mecha designs, but you've done a really nice job there. The articulation is a great idea!
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Thanks :) This is resin kit with no figures.

Nice one! Does this kit come with the articulated (ball) joints, or is this a personal addition?

How big is this one? I have seen pics of the 1:100 Kotobikuya kit, and that's already a massive thing!?

Ball joints came from LEGO HERO FACTORY :) This REX is about 25 cm high , 18 cm long (25 cm with railgun) and 20 cm width. It's pretty heavy too.

Very nice and clever mod! I experimented with doll ball joints on a walking tank some time ago, and saw your extras...  ;)

Great work (literally)!

REX is my favourite Metal Gear, and it's also one of my favourite mecha designs. Love to have a model of it myself, but yours is a good close second. I like your colour scheme, as well as the hard work with the ball joints. Thanks for sharing.
