Not the best picture! but I have been playing with the idea for a while to create either a new design Bae Hawk or Toucano.
First of all figuring out a way of creating a turboprop Hawk (RAF saving money not having a jet engined trainer) then settling on prehaps improving the Toucano.
Bae having a full licence to update the Toucano how they think best.

Highly fictitious and a little inpiration taken from the Pilatus PC-12 trainer with thinner more rounded wings and tail.

I'm sure there are many more alterations to this as it would look better to have a few more differences to the original..open to ideas.
Going to butcher a 1/72 Toucano for this one.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Keep the air intakes, and put the turboprop just behind the cockpit, driving the prop via extension shaft, like a modern day P-63 Kingcobra?  Could even have a 30mm ADEN firing through the spinner......

Like this maybe:

Or, how about a Tucano fuselage with Hawk wings ?
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike
