Four engines, three booms, two fuselages, one bold concept!

Note the ground crew and passengers..all twins! (Doppleganger Airlines is an abvious clue too)
I used two Testors Cieesna Skymasters, 1/48th scale.
Bandai, back in the 70s, did a bunch of light civil planes, that came with passengers and ground crew. Note the typical 1970s jacket on the male, and the era-appropriate jumpsuited female. mmmm...jumpsuits....

Tophe will just LOVE this!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

This is one of the most marvelous ideas that I see in the last times.
Is a Brilliant concept. A four engine  plane, Is probably to long range?

I'd love to this at the big airshow in Houston. Outstanding!

Yes, longer range, more passengers. The real Skymaster was often flown using only the rear engine as it was more efficient to do so, so you could fly this with two engines running. I would hate to get split up from my wife or friends on this plane, you would be able to wave at them, but not talk to them if they were in the other fuselage.

Sadly, the only Twin O2B was lost in action during the closing stages of the Vietnam war, with the pilot in one half trying to fly out to sea to a waiting USN Carrier, and the other trying to fly to the Indonesia. The plane was seen zig-zagging over the South China Sea before breaking in two. There were no survivors.

Alvis, this is just official history, but here we know that those two pilots' souls did survive. One has becomen my left brain and the other: my right brain.

Good job that they'd agreed on the seating-plan before they took-off otherwise they'd have flown into each other  ;D

Genius the pair of you...you've just made an old man happy  ;D ;D ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Inspired by Alvis' Twin-Skymaster, my P-38-addict mind invented the AV-38 Alvightning:
