Hi everybody

I need some help. I have lot´s of complete "What if" planes built by me, but I need a tutorial of how to take pictures from my planes (backgrounds used, lights) and how to use the photoshop to create images of the plane flying and fighting.

I don´t use kits to make my planes... I use another material. This material allows me to build planes and "play" with them.

Thanks a lot

The easiest way to do that is by taking photos against a background that has one color. Maybe a large sheet of paper.

When you open the photo in e.g, Photoshop, there's a function called 'Grow selection' or 'Select similar'. Check the details in the manual. Use this function to select the entire background, and delete this. What's left is the aircraft, which can then easily be pasted onto another photo.

hmmm... you could use a background that contrasts well with the plane...

you also need to have a fairly consistent lighting so the background is even...

select a background

take a photo and open and use it as a different layer

use the magic wand select tool and adjust the tolerance accordingly...

use the smooth the edges of the layer

voila! <_<

hope that helps
