The Beaufort certainly looks snappy in the scheme Simon.

Lee,

Just a thought, but I could knock up some profiles in various schemes if you're interested.  I haven't got a Tse-tse blank specifically, but I have blanks for an FB.VI, B.IX, B.IV, NF.II & NF.30.  The VI is the most obvious choice there I guess.

Let me know if you're interested and pm a list of the variations you're after.

It's pretty isnt it?  Definately suits overwater ops in the Med & possibily SEAC.  I've not been able to find much info on it's use, I don't think it was official & was limited to a short period & a handful of squadrons operating in the med.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The second is one operating from Gib against U-boats and it'd get a rather unusual scheme of Dark Slate Grey over Light Slate Grey with Azure Blue undersurfaces, similar to that worn by some of the Buckinghams.

That sounds good

Evening Gang,

After some discussion with Lee regarding this, I present the variations that he envisaged for his Mossies.

Wow!  That was quick!  Very good too.

They're pretty much close to how I'd envisaged, although perhaps the mirrorwave is a bit too...  tight?  I was thinking more wider with the brush strokes?  IIRC, the German one was meant to look like wave action so I was thinking for a British version over Norway would be wider to look more like ice.

I think I'll be on a Mossie/Hornet kick for a while...

Mav, have you got the blanks for a Brigand TF1 and a Hornet F3?  The former in the same colours second batch would be spiffing!

Morning All,

Thanks for your thoughts.

Lee, the squiggle was based on a Luftwaffe NF camo I was doing, which I guess would account for the 'tightness'.  Unfortunately I drew them in one scale and have to transpose between various sizes of artwork.  I think I have another scale of it tho somewhere, so I'll try another Mossie and see how we go.

I have both Brigand and Hornet blanks available, altho the Brigand is a B.1 & a bit shabby, but I'll give it a crack and see where it leads.

Morning All,

Lee, I managed to source a better Brigand blank and it's a TF.1 too.  I also knocked up a Mosquito with a larger wave pattern too.

Here's the Hornets.
