I have been told that McDonnell Douglas used the windscreen panels form the DC10/MD11 which may help.

Ray,

AFAIK the entire nose is aerodynamically similar to the DC10/MD11. That nose sharing idea goes back to the YC-15 as I recall too, and for that they may have used an actual DC10 nose, the time frame is about right.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Ok, so is there anyone out there that has bought the Anigrand KC-10 and does not want the cockpit section? :D

Looks like I need to sort out another fix.

How about this?
C-17 given the An-225 treatment!
Anyone with two spare 1/144 C-17s and a razor saw?  ;D

Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
