The SIG aims to replicate in model form anything mentioned in a Biggles book, illustrated in any Biggles publications, etc...

Thus, there's a wide degree of interpretation available for some models.
"The White Fokker"...the very first Biggles story, has at its centre, a White Fokker D.VII, so that's easy. But many aircraft are just given brief descriptions....the Sea Otter mentioned in some stories isn't of the Supermarine variety, but a twin-engined aircraft.....hence there can be a degree of invention.
In "Biggles Follows On", a Czech-registered DC-3 is mentioned.....and that's all the guide given. So I've built two of these, each slightly differently finished, to prove that "variety" is possible from one reference.
The Beaufighter has been given a "new" scheme due to a temporary depoloyment at sea aboard a carrier....don't forget, the US launched B-25s from a carrier in 1942.
