B-52 Space Shuttle Idea

Hey Guys, i once saw a Documentary on the B-52, a Pilot talked about  BUFFS in Space, So....What If the B-52 was used as the Basis for a Heavy Lift Space Shuttle?  Think it Could Work? it's Something i Never Talked to People about until now. What Say You? thanks for Looking.Dan
