Nice ! I love the way she came out....very diferent, that's for sure ! The engines and contras sure change up her look. I might be in Wooksta!'s bost, tho....I kinda like the nose, but then again, I kinda don't.....

Dirtying up the tips of the tailplanes sounds like a good idea as well.

Looks good!

Maybe they lengthened the nose for better streamlining, given it's higher speed, and/or in order to restore the CofG, given than turboprops are usually lighter than the piston engines they replace?

Works for me!  But it does mess up the beauty of the original.

GOOD ONE

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I really like it  And I agree that the kind of early rudimentary look only adds to it  (I do see the different colored surfaces too)

Overall I give it a:

I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I'm mighty impressed, regardless. Well done!

I like it. Silver is very tough to work with, so hats off to you.  Maybe longer/pointier spinners on the props?  Nicely done.

Interesting concept, buzzbomb. I like it (and most Mossies). I, too am putting a self-invented turboprop on my He-1062, but I am not as far along as you (coupla weeks at most to finish).
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

kitnut, you said:

"I notice your engine and exhaust go right through the two wing spars"

Maybe it's just perception, but it would seem that the engine itself could end in front of the wing spar, and the exhaust pipe ride up over it on its way aft, and what we see is just "formed sheet metal". Yes?
