Heinkel He155 V1

after seeing the concept art in Tigercat's Indiana Jones Flying wing thread, there also was another Ron Cobb design.
the Heinkel He155 V3.

i googled some info and found this, but the bottom concept profile looks to modern, even futuristic, to be '46.



im going to use the top concept art as a basis for this build, but its gonna incorporate some changes to keep in relation to the '46 universe.
as a basis im gonna use the Revell 1/72 FW Flitzer kit and a pair of Jumo 004 engines leftover from a Revell 1/72 Me262A. as for the tail, im gonna what other model i can salvage it from, propably an Alpha Jet or Fouga Magister

I thought about doing one of these a couple of years ago, but in the end, I couldn't bring myself to hack up my Fine Molds X-Wing for the front fuselage.

ok, first pictures, tailsection has been sawed off and the jet engine has been removed to accomodate the new tail

thanks, but im affraid im not goint to finish this one in time, its barely started and the deadline is to close.
however im also using this build in the luft'46 GB over on the dutch modelling forum and that GB runt to october 22, so plenty of time

Finished this one in time; but with a little extension.........   . It´s just a kidding.

I´ve already know what the nose of your He 155 remember me: THE FIGHTER X WING OF STAR WARS !

I´m very interested in this model. I want to make one for my collection.
