So apart from the boom system, how close are the RAAF birds to the RAF ones spec wise?
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

I'm not totally sure.  There might be some minor subsystem differences but I doubt many.  Not sure what the Defensive Systems fitout is one either.

I think it is only the boom (an associated systems) that is the difference from the RAAF KC-30 and RAF Voyager.

Greg, the aircraft that was delivered to Amberley was also A39-003. The RAAF should receive its next KC-30 in a couple of weeks.

Will the RAAF adopt the same name the RAF have coined for it or stick to KC-30 ?
