QuoteYou fit the u/c before painting?

Actuall it makes life easier as with it being solid heavy resin, supporting it during painting can be rather difficult. The tandem main wheel legs actully make it rather stable. We do of course fit the actual wheels latter.

Ah, I see, I hadn't thought of the weight problem.
How do you paint the underside of the aircraft then? Or do you split the painting process in two (top/bottom)?

QuoteAnd damn, then kits are alot of work ! No wonder you guys keep hounding Trevor to do one in plastic !
Aint that the truth! Somehow I doubt I'll have much desire to do another one of these kits.
Hey froggy. as we say in this neck of the woods.....Kill or cure LOL

says he with 3 Heritage and an Arba bird under his belt.

In fact the first Heritage kit I built was my first ever attempt at a compleat resin kit.  Talk about jumping in at the deep end. then again my first ever vac form was a Nimrod. (never did finish the damn thing, its looking a bit forlorn and unloved up in the loft at the mo)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.
