Well finally a kit has been announced in 1/72nd scale however it is from Broplan in Poland so will be a vacform with resin details.

At just over £48 at today's exchange rate it should be made of stainless bl**dy steel, let alone vacform!  OK I exaggerate, but for that price it should be all-injection (by the way, the illustration at the end of the linky says vacform + injection parts, not resin parts).
Great subject, but almost a tenner more than the forthcoming Airfix Valiant is, quite frankly, extracting the michael somewhat.

Actually, if you compare prices to kits found on the WelshModels website, that's quite a good price considering the model in 1/72 scale will be just a tad over 16" long (41.6 cm).  I've a few of the Welsh Models 1/72 kits, 737's, CRJ-200, Comets etc which are about the same length, I think I'll sign up for one myself.  I hadn't realised just how big the Sentinal is, I make it nearly twice as long as my 1/72 Canadair Challengers

And the wings are as large as the Airbus A320. It just doesn't look that big due to the narrow fuselage.
