Coming soon and in 1/72 for you fans of that scale:

It is a CAC Anti Tank Aircraft proposal based on parts already available ( Boomerang cockpit, Wirraway engines, CA-14 wings etc).  Somewhat of a leadup to the CAC Woomera.

If you are interested, let me know and I will pass your details onto Les so that he can contact you when they are ready for purchase.

Regards,

Greg
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

To be honest, it looks like something one of us would have thought of

One really wonders about the role, given the Japanese's lack of significant armour.

Two or three of those would do me nicely too.  Beaufighter markings perhaps?

I'd be interested, after the CA23, of course.

Interesting! Is that a heavy gun in the nose? Might be useful for bunker-busting, or give it a load of machine guns in the nose like some of the B-25/A-26 variants had for beating up shipping, soft-skin convoys etc.

Anti U boat?  The Japanese allowed the Germans to base some subs in Malaya.

Be a bit tight with the cockpit up front.  You'd either have to have them under the floor or extend the nose (which would IMO ruin its profile).  Even then, you still have to allow room for the ammunition.  I think it would be better with an underfloor installation with the ammunition tanks behind the cockpit.  The observer's position however precludes that as well.

Actually, I'll increase my order to five.  I know two people who'd be interested in that.
