Exact armanents and mission to be determined.

It will be some type of gun bus.   As is rapidly becoming apparent, Kinetic has moulded the left bomb bay doors in the open position and has the option of the in the extended or retracted position.    The current plan is to place some kind of gun pod in the bay with it firing alongside the left of the fuselage.   Whether or not it is a movable gun or not will depend a bit on some research.   Additonally, the way the kit is formed, one could potentially place a turret with up to 6 .50 cals in it.

That sure looks like a beauty of a kit.     If the company continues to improve their tooling, it won't be long until they'll be a first rate kit maker.   I wish so badly the the Airfix Canberras were of this standard.

Pix to come in the following days...hope to get to work on it Friday US WestCoast time.

Edit:   12 Mar 11----Stoof on hold.   Won't get over to the local hobby shop to get the styrene pieces to make gun pods for a couple months....sigh.  Will pursue it as time allows.

The other Africa machine should time allow, again no apologies about the camera, it's just owned by a dud of an operator.   ;D ;D ;D :

The plan was to make a current day ground pounding Stoof utilizing the open bomb bay to house a fairly large gun pod and carry some fanciful air to surface missiles suitable for small vehicles, & paint it in various sand shades.    The props would be mismatched and it would be fairly clear by the paint the aircraft was a cobbled together machine.

It'll happen....just not quite yet.

Thanks for the offer....what I hope to do is scratchbuild a spurious but rather possible weapon.   We'll see just how that goes.
