I came upon this webpage:

That is just chock full of great info on various guided bombs of the US during WW II (had been looking up info on the German "Fritz-X" and happened upon the site)

If you scroll down to the very bottom of the page, there is an article on the Pigeon-guided (!!!?) weapons system "invented" by the famous B.F. Skinner. Worth a read!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Yeah, well, after the woodpecker-guided bomb failed due to escape of the guidance mechanism itself...  :thumbsup:
