Afternoon all,

I've finally got around to uploading piccies of my finished TSR2 Trainer variant, using @Freightdog862 conversion set, and now with canopy!  Strictly speaking this is an Eagle GR1(T) in that was used as a twin stick trainer in the 237 OCU (17 Shadow Sqn) which you will recall was the fighter interceptor OCU.

NB that Colin's fighter interceptor conversion kit only comes with 2 x Radar Red Tops - there are 4 on this model, to obtain maximum training value out of the training sortie.....

That looks VERY good! The larger canopy improves the look of the Eagle no end, even if it did limit its performance somewhat.  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thank you for building the trainer up Dominic, and keeping the McEvoy, Telford tradition going! A lovely job to, since I put the image up on my facebook page, I got a few more orders.

A re-release of the TSR.2 fuel tank set would not go amiss in the future Colin, it would give lots of options for people who buy the two new sets. I for one will be using the under wing tanks from a set with the Fighter version and the under fuselage tank is going with an anti-shipping build. I would definitely be interested in another set myself, possibly two.

Hello  Colin,
Are you going to re release the hunter interceptor and super sonic hunter conversions at all, as I a friend is in the market for either or both, and I would like another supersonic conversion too. Cheers.
