Nice.  I must build Gannet

I wonder was the real thing ever used in a Strike role?

Initially, it was a spec' requirement.  There's an article in a recent Air-Britain Aeromilitaria magazine about the Gannet prototypes and early production aircraft and photos of them show they had little blanking-off plates covering the zero-length pylons attaching points which IIRC the Mk.1's should have too.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Though the Gannet is not anywhere close to being my favorite aircraft, it DOES have a propeller on it (2) and yours looks cool.
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

I have seen pictures of  Gannets on board a Carrier with the RP's fitted (in an old SAM magazine I think). 4 a side as i recall, unlike mine but they were unfortunately all that the spares box had!

Thanks for the kind words ,
I'm off now to see what's in the stash (something simple I hope)
Regards
Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

I like that, I can just see it operating over the Radfan
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
