"VolksBlitz"

I have always been intrigued by the "halibut" bug-eyed B-42/43, and (not related...YET!) the Nebelwerfer nose-mounted in an Me-410.

So I'm thinking of a "Luft-46" kind of concoction which will resemble a jet-powered German version of a B-43 (nebelwerfer but no glass nose) that I will call the "VolksBlitz" (whether it ever gets done is problematic):

Bomber/zerstorer made simply with wood or other aircraft components for Hitler Youth pilots. Using Nebelwerfer in nose with slots for two rockets at a time.

Maybe Mosquito fuselage turned upside-down.

Metal "nebelwerfer" in "cockpit" underneath..

Twin "Halibut" cockpit canopies from 1/144 Catalina gun blisters (scrap)

1/144 Catalina wing

"Snark" jet-in-tail (upside-down, i.e. scoop overhead))

Two Ar-234 wing jets. Nose and main LG also(?)

Twin tails from Bf-110(?)

Since I have few Soviet aircraft, maybe I will make this a "captured and reversed-engineered" kind of thing and put red stars on it.

I don't SUFFER from mental illness--I kind of enjoy it!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Or if you wanted to take the slightly easier router (and wait a bit), Lone Star Models has a 1/48 X/B42 Mixmaster in the works.
