Yonaga is the equivalent of a Japanese "USS Midway", without an armored deck and some other features that graced the 1945 US build (remember the Yonaga is a pre-war carrier, barely).  Next to the "Shokaku", Yonaga would be similar to having the Midway next to the CV-5 Yorktown.
