Looks like it's doing Mach 2 sitting on the ground! Nicely done Duncan, and it looks very good in a 'proper' scheme.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I think this was the first Anigrand kit I built (did it as Canadian Forces in Europe) - all I can say is you made a far, far better fist of it then I did. Well done mate  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Excellent build Duncan, looks gorgeous!  :wub: :thumbsup: Always wanted one because of those beautifully shaped swivelling engine nacelles. I thought about trying a 1/48th one based on a Starfighter and the Lindberg F11F-1 Tiger. Reckon it would be in a fuel emergency state before it even took off!.

Lovely job Dunc, scheme certainly suits it! :thumbsup:...Been a while since I've been on here but I'm in the process of finally finishing my F8U-3 Super crusader 111 in a similar gull grey/white scheme (using colourful F3B Demon markings). The XFV-12A will be similarly attired....

Clearly, Field Marshal Haig is about to make yet another gargantuan effort to move his drinks cabinet six inches closer to Berlin.
