Hi all. Does anyone know where to find a XFY-1 Pogo (KP/Kopro) for say 10 bob or less? There's one on ebay but thought I'd chance my arm here first. I fancy using one to make a US Stipa-Caproni type aircraft and need something with a "humped" cockpit.

Ta.

I have five in stock, one without a prop. Would that one be of use or would you like a whole one?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I don't have a "humped" cockpit, but do have an "egg plane" P-47 that I had thought of making into a Stipa-type aircraft, but....won't. Interested?
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Thanks for the offer sequoiaranger but I don't think I could afford the postage from the States (sometimes its like $3, sometimes its $30 - what's up with that anyway?  ;) ). PR19_Kit is sorting me out again, thanks Kit.

You're bang on with the idea though as I intend to use an inverted P-47 and enhance the resultant dorsal hump for the cockpit, fuel etc. Was planning on it using a centrifugal compressor like the Campini rather than a ducted fan of the Stipa to account for a smaller diameter but hadn't thought of using an egg plane. That would be perfect for a true Stipa so thanks for the idea!
