Sentinel Chicken

This past weekend was the Denton Air Show at KDTO and while it's a small air show with no big name acts, the crowds are smaller but the planes are varied as warbird owners and vintage aircraft owners fly in for the show and are more than happy to show off their birds. There's a growing business aviation presence at KDTO now as a lower-cost alternative to Addison Airport (KADS) closer to Dallas which has been the tradition bizav airport along with Dallas Love Field. Piaggio had their P180 demonstrator there on display, N405KT (pretty nifty marketing in the tail number). I just got Adobe Lightroom and still learning what I can do with it, this was the first batch of shots I experimented with this morning in Lightroom.

The Wooksta!

There was one of the early ones used in an episode of Airwolf (Eagles, series 3).  Is there a kit of it in 48th?

I found two 1:72 kits, but no 1/48:
- Sanger vacform
- Italiankits resin http://www.italiankits.it/cunarmodel.html

Saw one at the Airdrie (Calgary) Airshow about three years ago, I took a pile of photos of it and sent them to CanMilAir to see if he could do a decal set of these as in the photos here. He did and I've got a set for my Sanger 1/72 vacuform kit.

I got to stick my head in through the door to see what's in there, very plush set up, leather seats all around and the rear wall was a complete mirror making it look a lot bigger than what it was.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

I have that Sanger kit too, as a match for their Starship. They make a good pair but the Avanti takes the cake for overall concept to my mind.

The UK agent for them usually had one on the ground at Kidlington, parked right up against the road so any passing millionaires couldn't miss it.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I thought 'I want to build those' when I found the Sanger kit info I posted earlier. I don't build many civilian aircraft but those two
