many thanks for the encouragement....they should be finished by the weekend.....then its on with a Finnish bird or two....gotta say that I love 'bolt gun metal' from citadel for the gun barrels.....!!!!!

One should pay attention to what are armoured panels and what is glazing on a multi frames tandem cockpit's.....especially when removing the sellotape masking........and wondering why on one peice it is being very stubborn..... :banghead:....oh well....out with the paint brush for some touching up..... :thumbsup:

All just need ariel wires attached......

They are depicted having been delivered from overhaul/paintshops to the squadron's......the aircraft were obtained from Czech sources.....a number of airframes of the Ju 87 and Hs 129 were obtained and cobbled together to make flyable examples.....the Il 2's weren't in as bad shape....limited amounts of weapons/underwing stores were also obtained.....rear guns were replaced with some of the numerous .50's available......some personal markings were added at later dates as with individual a/c numbers.....other than the national markings they remained pretty bare.....some type of kill markings were observed on some a/c.....they took various forms....

Hope you lot like them.....not that good at back story....H

Those are excellent, Army of One! I bet those babies would've taken quite a toll on enemy tanks!
