For several years now, there have been discussions in the Dutch Air Force and the government about replacing the F-16s we currently use. Due to the expense involved the choice has become quite politicized. The decision from a few years ago to participate in (and pay part of) the development of the JSF has complicated the decision even more.
So far, the JSF has been the favorite of the air force and government. But various opposition parties favor other solutions, and with elections being rather more frequent than the acquisition of new aircraft, quite a lot can change before the F-16s are retired. In 2001 and again in 2008, several manufacturers were asked to provide a proposal and information. In both rounds, the JSF had the best specifications. Price considerations may force a different outcome yet.
All of the major Western players are up for consideration: JSF, Super Hornet, F-16 C/D block 50/52, F-16 E/F block 60, Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen (basic version or NG).
I've decided to build a couple in 1/144 scale in RNLAF colors. The Super Hornet and F-16 I've omitted for now, the others are halfway through the painting process (Humbrol 125/126/127/128).

im looking forward to see a few, i had a similar plan for the Belgian F-16 replacement in 1/72 a few years back.
2 days ago during the Belgian Independence day report, i heared that there are plans to buy a new fighter as the F-16 will exit service by 2025.
Lockheed has been lobbying hard to sell the F-35 to Belgium, but with slimming budgets and political problems, i dont see this likely. when it comes to cost, i would prefer either the Grippen NG or the Super Hornet. in terms of technology and international NATO cooperation, i would go for typhoon. but for now, rumor has it that the Rafale is the prefered choice.

anyway, back on topic.
are you going for different paintschemes or are they all going to have the same color scheme?

They're getting the F-16 scheme:

I had some decals printed up, that order's taking a bit longer than I hoped (ie 3 months in and still no result), but I'm trying to get them finished otherwise in the next few weeks.

I'm not sure. I've just been looking online, but can't find sources that confirm Have Glass has been applied to Dutch F-16s. The only description I found of the RNLAF  F-16 midlife update program does not include any mention of Have Glass.
