Hey Guys,i Recently purchased a Dymo label maker for my upcoming Project. FYI,the Label Maker is called Letratag, and the Labels Are Not like the Dymo Labels you know! has anyone used a Label Maker for Aircraft Lettering when they've built a Model? just wondering,Doubt i'd find anything on Google about it. Thanks for Looking.Dan

I've never seen Dymo Letratag labels used for markings. I've got a similar label maker here, I see a few pros and cons:

pro:
labels are easier to make than decals

con:
labels are thicker than decals. It'd be difficult to hide the fact that there's a label tape on the model.
There's a limited selection of markings (only a few fonts, few special characters) and colors (you can get the tape in ~15 color combinations)

I know the type of label maker you mean, we use them at work.  They've been around a while, & have largely replcaed the old DYMO lablers that embossed the tape, although I think you can still get those.  I agree with Harro's comments & add one more pro, you can get a clear label type & one more con, the labels can peel up with handling, even the 'permanent' type.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
