The 1/72 RF-18A kit, gives you the spruce for the two seater or the F/A-18A, B, C or D  without the internal gun.
I got the AML 1/72 EC-135 Looking Glass kit through ebay and discovered the sender had added; another pair of wings, different engines and decals. This wasn't mentioned by the seller in his communication, bargain!!

Since I mentioned Great Models' delay in communicating with me on an after-sales issue, I should also post that I did finally hear back from them. They asked me to return the kit I bought (the Airfix Bf-110 hiding in a Harrier GR9 box) and they will send me a replacement when they return to stock. Not sure if I will be credited for my postage - we'll see as it develops.

The Zhengdefu 1/144 B2 and F-117 look-a-likes are a bit of a let down, so too is their version of the Mig-31. Although it does resemble a tandem seater Mig-25, the nose gear isn't long enough to touch the ground even with the wheels attached. Add weight to the nose cone and the rear wheels don't touch the ground. Then there is the spine. I suppose they were going for the Mig-31M look but over ran by a inch, this should stop and line up with the rear vetical tail fins. the box art shows the infligt refueling probe extended. This part isn't on any of the spruces, but as the instructions says " the modeler can enhance the kit with their imagination".

Sounds like an unintentional Whiffer's motto! Maybe we should make Zhengdefu the official model company of What If? ;D

The Wooksta!

The Unicraft Bv 237 is a case in point.  The box lid photo shows a built up Revell Bv P.194.  Inside the box are some crudely cast resin lumps. At CMR prices for sub Merlin/Beechnut toss.

Bitter?  Yes. Very, having been burned several times. And I will continue slagging Unicraft and it's excreble products until I go blue in the face.  If I prevent one modeller from having to suffer these abortions, I've done a good job.

ROTFLMAO - they can imagine it's made by Tamiya for a start....... :banghead:

Yes, it's a cheap copy. The plastic is thicker and the instructions have that photocopied look about them. I wouldn't build their version of the EA-6B Prowler as the measurements are wrong, unless you intend whiffing. The internal decals are way too big and on the thin/transparent side.

Have to agree with you there on the Mig 31 McColm, using Wooksta's term, it's a bit of toss if you want a nice Mig 31

Mind you, the parts did come in useful though, this project has most of it now ---

Now I know what to do with my Matchbox Viggen wings'. Best finish off some of builds, before starting something new.
Great model.
