Gosh, its been a long time, and this project has been languishing on the workbench, due to GCSE's etc.

Perhaps you might want to go for the low viz roundals used on the wrap around schemes of the 80`s and get rid of the white bit.

Don't apologise for percieved "poor quality". A) It isn't - it would take me a week to get that far  B) It ilustrates the idea absolutely perfectly

What are the smaller missiles under the outer wings? They look like mini-Blue Steels but are probably something else.

All the `bombcords` I`ve seen have been the gloss white so a black SR-71 scheme would be a great change and pretty unique.

Anyhow, your model giraffeboy and I`m looking forward to the next update.

You hit the nail on the head- they ARE mini blue steels - first attempt at scratch building Thankyou to all for the kind comments - a darker sceme is looking like a rather attractive avenue. What i'm thinking is perhaps a dark grey, with perhaps a black nosecone. And maybe a shark mouth? Haha, at this rate I'll have to build a fleet of Bombcordes.

By the way, have any of you heard of the new Tupelov 144 (konkordski) kit thats come out? looks great! Here's a link to the ICM's page about it :

There's one going on ebay for £18.99, which seems much better compared to the £100 resin one that has been knocking about

I've been thinking about that ICM Tu-144 too, it does look pretty good and the price isn't bank breaking. A pair of one of them and a BA Concorde would look good together.

Then of course there's the Bombkonkordski...............
