Douglas DC-8 CLS airliner 1/100

Next project from "karlik´s" branch of VEB Plasticart. This time DC-8 in CLS livery.
In this case, I have a problem, I have not the original gear parts. Please anyone knows the length of the nose and main landing gear ??

possible color, but not final, I welcome any suggestions, color should be in the style of the sixties

I've got a few 1/144 scale Eights.

Perhaps I could measure the gear legs on them and calculate what it should be in 1/100?

ingredients: one Plasticart DC-8 wreck /thanks ujík  /, one landing gear from Plasticart Tu-20, one beer can /empty  /
much sanding, engraving etc. I might try imitate polished Alclad from selfadhesive aluminum tape  
windows will be done from decal

Mmmm....beer...what was that ? Oh, the fourth variant for me too. The flag/emblem on the tail looks too cluttered. The 'swoosh' and the emblem alone on the front fuselage look out of place, but when they are together they look perfect. The C.L.S. logo looks out of place as the wording is right above it, so why have both ? My only suggestion for the 4th variant would be to keep the 'cheat' line straight to the end, not have it widen and merge with the blue tail.

What was that about beer ?

First beer  : one of the cheapest beers in the Czech Republic. Staropramen lager, half a liter for 15 CZK, approximately 0,73 CAD/USD
are better beers in the Czech, but when the weather is warm, swallow this too 

and DC8: fourth option is most likely, but the adjustments will still be. Thank you for the suggestion
