Here is my quick builds of a couple of 1/48 scale Opel Blitz trucks...both of them are what-if but the fuel truck is more what-if than the ragtop is.

These models will be seen from time to time in the background in some of my pics of other newly finished models. ;)

My next model will be started in the morning after I clean the work table off...the next model is HUGE.

Thanks Pablo1965!

Right after I took these pics of the fuel truck I dropped it (again!) and broke it. Twice during assembly I dropped this model and had to repair it....thats my cue to start working on wing things again, at least I can hang on to them better.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thank you Cobra, Bernie, NARSES 2, and Alex!

Cobra,
No I don't have any plans for building a Crash Tender but if Tamiya made one in 1/48 scale I would no doubt get one and build it.

BTW, these models were built from the Italeri/Tamiya kits. The Tamiya kit is just a reboxing of the Italeri kit and is crude compared to what Tamiya usually does with these 1/48 scale ground vehicle kits.
Also the tires included with these kits are those stupid fake rubber tires and not plastic.
The paints used were Model Master enamels and the colors were hand mixed...I don't build many armor vehicles and don't have any of the RAL paints so I have to wing it whenever I do build some ground targets.
I chose the Ambush scheme for the fuel truck since that type of vehicle is important to a Luftwaffe unit and would have recieved a good camouflage scheme to prevent losing it to Allied fighter-bombers, the Ambush scheme was very effective at hiding vehicles under trees or camouflage netting.
