The so called  1/300 VC-25 from Kitech was put together in four hours, I still haven't got around to painting it.
My Airfix 1/144 SRN-4 'Colossus' stretched hovercraft could do with the Boeing 747's engine pods for a source of power.

That Mig is one that shouts at me to try and attempt the same thing myself. Just a KISS build with a wonderful scheme that adds one more red star to the collection   I am a very slow builder because I do too  many projects at once. I am getting more decisive though, so I am getting faster. Racking my brain to think of the fastest build I have done and I am not coming up with anything. Thats a problem! Built a figure in a day, about 15 years ago!

Got my thinking cap on now though.... Want to do a speed build

How about we start up a Speed Build Theme Build; then everyone can post their speed builds in the one place.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

..... Wonderfest in Louisville Kentucky. ....

ditto with Iron Modeller at Wonderfest with the Starship Modeller crew.
I took part in 2007 and 2010.. great time whizzing out a quite reasonable model in 4 hours from a base "ingredient"

Never really thought about it till now but i have made many kits in a day before and if i don't do between 60 and 80 kits a year it's been slow for me.
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!
