Several 109's were flown by the RAF at various times, I've built a model of AE479 as flown by the Air Fighting Development Unit.

Right I'm begining to understand. According to Chris F these 2 109's will be the kits in the Airfix Club membership pack

Aagggghhh, they're 1/48 scale!  :banghead:

I wish we Airfix Club members had a 'scale option' so we could chose which scale we had the Club kits in. My '109s will be up for sale, at least as soon as I've scanned the decal sheets.......  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Looking closely at the small print on the box, there's only one kit, but two decal options.  Following the various posts, I first got the impression that there were two Bf-109's in the box

I think the policy on the Club Issue kits has been that they give 1 x 1/48 kit or 2 x 1/72 scale kits, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
