While looking for parts of my Lincon conversion set from which the mid upper turret was to be donated to a Shackelton Mk2, I found that one of my Shackelton kits has two part 6's while missing a part 3. I nnow have three underwing parts and only one upper wing. Most strange

Advice please. Should I simply send off to Revell asking for a replacement part or could some kind soul here help. Converting the lower wing part into an upper wing part did cross my mine, on its way to the rubbish bin.

Swept wings from a suitable airliner, and some new nacelles!  Voila!  British version of the Bear!!

McColm

Would a Lancaster be of any help to you?

Gondor

Thanks for the offer McColm but a Shackleton is some what Larger than a Lancaster. so unfortunatly it will not realy be of any help. I think I will have to end up buying a couple of Shackeltons and pince the part from one of them while makeing a larger Shackelton from the remainder.

It's surely worth trying Revell, after all it was their fault!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Not sure it is Kit, I have a couple of Shackeltons of dubious orijin bought of Ebay so the wrong part may have come that way.
