This was a birthday present from my Father, a man of clearly impeccable taste, who also kindly bought me the fantastic book by Damien Burke. I highly recommend the book as it is one of the finest historical/engineering/modelling books I've read in some time (I don't know Damien, but this book is THE one to have by my reckoning).

Without further ado my attempt at making a semi decent 1:72 A/C. Finally got the undercarriage and nose weight game sorted, I think. The kit is a bit of a 'challenge' and has taken a little over 4 months to complete (work, study, life etc). She's finished with a multitude of light misting sprays of Halfords Appliance White and lined with...that's a secret, but can be divulged.

Very nicely done  , and Damiens book is the one to have on the TSR2

You'll have to try another now you know what the pitfalls are and have a look at using Freightdogs addons as he he does one of the fighter version conversions covered in the book.

Nice restrained weathering ! The white is very difficult to make it "look right" but you got it bang on i reckon..
