There were some disadvantges, when we came back to UK from Egypt in 1948 (I think....) rationing was still in force and we needed ration books for sugar and stuff. There were NO mdel kits at all until I was about 9-10 I think.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Still got the ration book my mum was issued for me  ;D The way the world ecconomy is going it may come in usefull  :wacko:

I really like this model, its very easy to build and paint a model out of the box and get good results but its a real challange to make a model of a derelict aircraft that has been exposed to the elements for a while and have it look convincing. Well done! :bow:
