Gaugemaster

So here's some interesting things I just stumbled across.

Model railway supplier Gaugemaster call their modern scenery brand 'Fordhampton', this being the fictional town in which all the buildings and people exist. Well it turns out that Fordhampton has a general aviation airfield, and they make kits that include light aircraft and gliders for it, all in 1/76th scale, of course.

Here's the planes. There are two of each type in the box. I think they're generic types and they MIGHT have no interiors. This is about £15:






There's also a hangar building which includes two Piper Cub-ish aircraft. This is about £20:






Lastly there's a control tower/terminal building. Also about £20:

Hannants don't stock these so you have to go looking for them on ebay. The best search term is "Fordhampton Airfield".

The motor-glider resembles a Schiebe Falke SF-25, Slingsby built them under license.

Seems that the aircraft registrations are good as well

G-HPJT is wearing the correct reg for an HPH 304S high-performance single-seated, flapped racing class sailplane.

G-ARTF should be on the aircraft at the back as that looks like a Druine D.31 Turbulent.

The front aircraft looks like a Cessna 310. Shouldn't be too hard to create an accurate reg for it from the Gaugemaster decal sheet. https://www.gaugemasterretail.com/media/downloads/Plane_Lettering.pdf
