This was actually a test for my first whiff of the year--which I won't quite let out of the box just yet.  Mostly I wanted to try out the Sophisticated Finishes rust technique.  It's simply put, an acrylic paint heavily loaded up with iron particles, and an antiquing solution that encourages rust.  Works like a charm, and it will figure heavily on my next project.

I think it looks good. I plan to make a firefighting one but yours is beautiful. I love the road part. :thumbsup:
