Here is the link to my album on Flickr covering my recent visit to Paris. The Musee de l'Air et l'Espace is a superb museum - lots of unique machines you won't see anywhere else, and two (count 'em) Concordes as well as an excellent hall covering space flight (something sorely lacking in the UK, for obvious reasons). Highly recommended. I'm still sorting through my photos, but have a look at what I've uploaded so far.

As a taster, here's part of the Prototype hall:

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Mercedes operated only one aircraft in it's long Schneider Trophy career - the Nord Griffon II - in 19 different Schneider Trophy competitions between 1959 and 1994, and won two championships. In 1998 it was elected to the Schneider Hall of Fame as a primary candidate.
That museum looks superb! I'd love to go and visit one day. I hope to go to the Italian Air Force museum when I'm over, Campini N.1, here I come!
I'll have a look at your flikr page

Looks rather geared to the kiddie end of the spectrum.  Nothing in that, per se but not necessarily as interesting to me.

That's true, but there are some good exhibits there.

Most of todays kids have no idea there ever WAS a UK 'Space Industry' because thet were born after it was shafted by a Government that didn't give a damn.........

Ha!  Tell me about it.  Australia led the world for about five years in Electronic Computing in the early 1950s, before the government decided that "rain making" was more important and ordered all resources shifted to that dead end.   We were the fourth nation in the world after the fUSSR, USA and France to independently launch a satellite (admittedly on a second-hand, cast off, US booster that got left behind at Woomera after the US cleared out).  Most people look blankly at me when I mention these facts.   :(
