I have a 1/72 Rafale on my bench, it is a sexy plane and i´m trying to tweak it to be even more aggresive. Let yourself be suprised :)

I need help with the obvious, camo :D i want to use pallette of my Blues :) should i go for splinter of make something new, any ideas are welcome :)

Thanks

The Rafale has some nice curves  ;) I worry that splinter might make it look angular  :o

Right now my thinking is to use a pale base color and some contrasting ribbons that make it look a bit less naked. Like wearing a bikini...

The only picture that comes to my mind now is my "Super Hornette" 3 view:

I left the bottom side pale grey and put some light grey, green and brown ribbons on the top.

That's looking good  And those twin fins are absolutely  makes the Rafale (already a rather 'tasty' jet IMHO) just that notch better.
although I must say the Camouflage looks more like a Display team Colour scheme to me (which I rather like)
One small request though, can you give the canards a slight downward droop? that (to my eyes) would look so much better
How ever its your model, Do carry on as you please

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Thanks :) about the canards... i like them as the are, they give it more aggressive look, but on the next project /rafale/ ill try your recomendation :)
i like colourful camos, so yes, it is a little bit unorthodox, but maybe in real life conditions could work :)

Maybe that is a Naval  or Coastal camo?

The twin fins look great. I wouldn't have done the canards like that either, worrying about the pilots' field of view, but you are the one who has to be pleased with the result

Spey_Phantom

the position of the canards make it look a bit like an Angel Interceptor
love the color scheme
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Here it is Rafale 1/72 MK2 :) tailfins from panavia tornado, camo idea from perttime (thank you very much, i love it :) )

i choosed unusuall color combination, but on a sunny day near large ocean area could work, especially looking on the low alltitude from height :P
