Fraternal Twins or Assymetric Zwilling

I'd be suprised if no one had tried this before at least certain afficiandos of assymetr y anyway  but what about an Assymetric Zwilling , it wouldn't be easy matching up wings etc.

In real life it would be a pig to pull off speculate and discuss

The Rutan Boomerang has done it in the real world.  Two booms, one short, one long, both with engines, one having the transport cabin.  It's wings are of differing length and forward sweep.  Doesn't get much more asymetric than that!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Tophe's recent postings of various Whirlwinds show a few that fulfill that requirement exactly.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Im sure you know but you didnt mention it so I will, but the engines are different power ratings too.

real-world facts .....
On propeller aircraft, fins are often off-set to counter the torque.

All engines have (slightly) different power so the need for trim-tabs on rudders .... which sometimes aren't enough.  One particular airplane had such a problem - the pilots always hated driving this one of the company's fleet -- for some reason it always slipped to the right.  One day it hit a bird & needed the nose-cone rebuilt.  Guy that did the job ended up with one part left over & didn't worry about it.  The plane test-flew well !  Pilots later said that it was fantastic - trim was now good, in fact, this was now the best plane in the fleet for ease of driving.

Investigation found that the new nose-cone was slightly asymetric & this balanced out the problem .... true story !

So one of Tophe's designs (the one with wings & engines on one side only !!!) "could" fly straight if there was enough off-set on the fin, nose-cone etc etc !
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'm not sick ... just a little unwell.
