Just opened up the old Frog Sepecat Jaguar A.2/T.2 kit and found a little surprise. There are two sprues for the nose section giving you the choice of a single seat or twin seat version. This means I'll have a spare nose section to do some whiffing with one day.  ;D
(Another surprise was a wheel vanishing from my hand when I looked at it. Guess the carpet monster snatched it! :banghead:  Not the best quality fit either...)

What other kits out there have little presents like this?

Tim just gave me a 1/1000 scale TOS Enterprise, which for some reason contains four warp nacelles! - Whiff in a box, Starfleet equivalent to spare tyres? ;D

The Academy 1/72 Me-163 has a similar set up, it has two upper forward fuselages for both the single seat and the two seat Me-163S.  A handling tractor also comes with it that might be very useful for a whiff conversion.

The Revell 1/78 Rotodyne has a full interior with several passengers, with a removeable panel to show it all off.  As most would button it up, those passengers can be useful for a dio, especially useful if anyone is into railways as I'll they'll do nicely for the post-war period.

The Revell/Matchbox Twotter has several options for the undercarrige including skis and floats.  Rob the floats for a whiff and you can still build the model with it's undercart.

The SMER 1/72 Curtis SC-1 also has float and wheeled options, again, you can rob the single float and outriggers and the still build the kit.

The Revell Boeing SST has two kits, one with swept wings, one with straight, so you can butcher parts from one.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'm not sure of the details but I read a review and it seems that the MPM wellingtons depending on which mark you buy have various spare engines and propellors

The Wooksta!

The Polar lights Enterprise always came with four nacelles, depicting which studio model you're wamting to build.

We've done this before, there's a thread somewhere.

Really?  Hmm, it's just that they look the same, but you have different end caps to do different versions - ah well, they will come in handy!!

The revell 1/48 p-38 came with two noses and an extra cockpit add on thing to make a nightfighter.

There is a 1/72 RF-18 Hornet kit, that can be built as a single or two seater. Two canopies and the plug for the single seat. Comes with air-to-air missiles and drop tanks. The two nose sections, but no gun.

In the Airfix BAe Nimrod kit you get an extra set of nose wheels and splash guards, an extra window and tail fins.

The Heller 1/72 E-3A gives you a dorsal fin.

The Revell Br.1150 Atlantic gives parts to build the Italian version but there are no instructions for the spare parts.
