Tophe-->This was a very different 262 indeed.<

Thanks. I wanted it "recognizable" as DERIVED from an Me-262.

Here is a "ground-level" pic of the front of the Sturmadler. Since this view blocks the canopy, my mind travels to a strictly prone-pilot Me-262!

Here are two pics from the side. 'Tis a slender aircraft (proportionately, because it is stretched in only one direction. It is only as "slender" as an Me-262).

and

Note "MT" serial number. Finnish serial numbers had a two-letter prefix that indicated the manufacturer's origin. That is, DN was Dornier, BL was Bristol, etc. and multiple aircraft from the same company had slightly different codes--Gloster Gauntlet--GT; Gladiator, GL; Gamecock, GA.  Though "MT" was used for Messerschmitt Me-109G's, they would have arrived at about the same time as the 2262's, so I just upped the number sequence for the 2262's and kept the "MT" designation. The German Werke number in the tail was kept for parts identification purposes. (or so I say!)
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!
