2. Super Lysander. Lizzie with P-40 engine and centre wing with u/c for Unspat my Ride GB. Status: Got Airfix Lizzie, Matchbox P-40. Need the GB....

3. Defiant-Wind/Bittern II. Defiant fuselage with Whirlwind wings and engines and a nose gun installation. Status: Got Airfix Defiant and Whilwinds.

4. Avro Avenger (PW). Two-seat strike aircraft based loosely on real-but-never-built Avro 710. Profile here: http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,20031.0.html. Status: Got Airfix Javelin, RoG AD-5 Skyraider for canopy. Need to decide on Avenger (cut down canopy) or Ambassador (6-seat VIP version with full canopy).

5. Avro Atom (PW). Light fighter based loosely on real Avro 727. Status: Got Airfix Gnat, MiG-21F (for wings and canopy), Academy MiG-23 (for gunpod). STARTED.

6. Avro Archer (PW). Interceptor based loosely on late Avro 720 proposals, but all-jet. Profile: http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,20031.0.html. . Status: Got Airfix F86-D and Mirage III, Heller Starfighter (canopy).

7. BombHawk (possibly PW). Hawker Sea Hawk with Metrovick Beryls in wing roots and bomb bay in centre section with fuel above. Status: Got Airfix Seahawks and Skyhawk (wing option). Need to do a mock-up to see how/if the Beryls would fit. Options are: a. if they fit, then all well and good, b. adopt an alternative (real or mythical) smaller engine that does fit, or c. stretch the fuselage to accept the Beryls and Skyhawk outer wings. Might need longer gear (Lightning?) for bomb-bay access.

8. TurboSpit (PW). Turbo-prop COIN Spitfire based on Cavalier Turbo-Mustang/Piper PA-48, possibly for Spitfire GB. Status : Got Heller Mk.XVI.

9. Hueyacobra. Airacobra autogyro with Huey rotor system. Status: Got Hobbyboss P-39Q, Italieri UH-1 rotors.

10. Gloster Ripper/Reaper/Raptor. 8-gun ground attack, missile armed nightfighter and big gun ground attack respectively, made by parts swapping between kits. Status: Got Matchbox NF.11/12/14, Airfix Meteor F.8. Need another Meteor 9type undecided) and possibly Trent-conversion or other turboprop parts.

11. F-5x4 (PW). Two F-5Es grafted together base-to-base with both sets of wings fitted Delanne biplane style. Status: Got Airfix F-5Es.

12. Me-609T (PW). Turbo-prop Me-109 with Me-262 canopy and outer wings. Status: Got Airfix 109 and 262s, Smer 262 (underscale canopy).

13. MiF-91 "Migina 1" (PW): MiG-9 with G-91 nose as per Arc3371's profile. Done for Profiles GB!

14. MiCh-20 (PW): MiG-19 with early MiG-21 nose, based on MiG SM-12 prototype. Status: Got KM MiG-19, Airfix & Academy MiG-21Fs. Prefer Heller MiG-19.

15. Turbocobra (possibly PW). Tandem twin turbo-prop Airacobra. Status: Got Hobbyboss P-39Q.

16.. Grumman Jaguar II (PW): Tiger airframe with swing wings. Status: Got Hasegawa Tiger, Academy MiG-23, Hobby Craft Su-17 and 1/144th Tomcat, but none of the swingers is really suitable. Stumped for the moment.....

17. An-72 Gunship. An-72 with AC-130-style gunship fit. Status: Got various 1/72nd Russian guns, and a 1/200th An-72 which they don't fit, funnily enough. Need 1/72nd An-72 (preferably the An-72P), but they're not common so don't hold your breath.

18. SEPECAT Jaguar FG.5. Fighter Jaguar with radar nose & big wing. Status: Got Matchbox GR.3, Airfix Typhoon (radar & canopy) Need Mirage F.1 (preferably Airfix).

19. Fouga/IAI Magister COIN. Single-seat attack Magister converted by IAI in Honduran markings, for Trainers-With-Teeth GB. Profile here: http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,19781.30.html . Status: Got Airfix Magister. Need the GB.....

23. McDonnell OV-3B: McDonnell XV-1 Vertiplane with turboshafts, wheeled u/c, revised interior and smoke rockets, done as an O-2-style Vietnam FAC. Status: Got Glencoe 1/32nd XV-1. Need 1/32nd seats, weapons, possibly wheels. Might have to scratchbuild.

27. Crossley Caterpillar (PW). Articulated 8x8 APC made from front 2/3 of one Saracen and back 2/3 of another. Stats: got Airfix Saracens.

27. Crossley Crusader (PW). 8x8 Saladin with bigger gun, extra wheels + engine section coming from 27. Status: got Airfix/JB Saladins, Saracens and 17pdr barrel from Matchbox Comet.

28. KGB Border Guard cutter. Sovietised Severn Class lifeboat. Status: got Airfix Severn, need weapons and other bits.

29. He-70 turret fighter. Matchbox He-70 fitted with turret from 3b. with new gun (20mm?) and possibly Db.601. Status: Got He-70 and Defiants.

Noratlas Gunship: undecided weapon fit. Algerian War.

An-72 Gunship: 2 x AK630 + 4 x AT-6. Afghanistan War.

An-72 Gunship: 1/200th version of above, made as an airshow promotional display to go along the 1/72nd one.

BAC Thunderbolt: single-engined Lightning made from Su-7 fuselage with Lightning wings and bits. Already made one as a prototype, but this one will be operational.

I myself have a part-built FBC-1 similar to your idea, but a Tornado alternative from SEPECAT, the "Panther GR.1". Based on some skins that SPINNERS did a couple of years ago. Also have the bits collected for a big-wing Jagfighter, but slightly different concept again.

Just went and had a look at the stash to remind me and added errrr a few more......

Also added some tentative ideas who's build list is by no means established.

Total is now around 200 ideas and 40 years to complete.........

Pyro - can't crack on with anything at the moment 'cos I'm snowed with DIY. Light is now visible at the end of the tunnel though, and part of that DIY should make the model den more usable in very hot/very cold conditions.
