Tried to find it for you but it was too long ago (2009/2010?), on Starship Modeler one of the guys built a steampunk USS Voyager...

Excellent.....I've built a trio of aether-powered Warspouts (ie Warspite battleships)....pictures on here somewhere.

It had never even occurred to me before now (not a huge 'Trek fan it must be said), but a 'punked Enterprise sounds awesome! I might even have to give it a go if I can find a cheap kit! Lots of lovely brass and rivets...

I remember the steampunk Voyager, it was awesome!!  He used two drill armatures for the "warp" engines with lots of cannons on different decks.  I believe the hull was painted and weathered a copper color.
