At the time the M'box Jag was released there was some comment that it was a model of the mockup, rather than a prototype or production machine. The Frog Jag was of the prototype too, I spent ages 'productionising' my 2 seater, filing the notch in the top and bottom of the tailplane was a BITCH of a job!  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Weird,
Just found a 1/72 Matchbox Jaguar with the wings of SAAB 37 Viggen fitted to it. Must have been one of my teenage whiffs. Clear signs of the undercarriage snapped off and no canopy, brown plastic fuselage, no other details.

Interesting, and well done up to now... Belated congratulations
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
