Yes, this would certainly have featured an ejection seat. First types, working with pressurized air, were already operational at the era of this aircraft (e .g. in the He 219).

I love the *LOOK* of this plane!

But I'm curious--if those gaping "jaws" in front of the booms are scooping up air to cool the engine, where does all that volume of air GO?? I don't see any "outlets" that match the "intakes". Piped into the fuselage through the wings and out past the spinner?? Seems like an awful lot of "ducting".

The Brits made an air-cooled "inline" engine, the Rolls-Royce "Exe", that had quite a potential, too.
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

They are hard to see (because they are so slim), but there are louvres at the drum radiators' sides wher the air is supposed to splil out again, just in front of the wings' leading edges. They are a bit small, improvised with polystyrene strips.  :rolleyes:
