In the past I have gotten white metal props from The Aviation Hobby Shop for reasonable prices....not sure if they got what you need but you can look online at their catalogue....they do an awful lot of props.....

Aeroclub do a 3 bladed white metal contra-prop AFAIK.

NARSES2 got one for me for my Martin Baker MB8 Marlin last year, and I think it came from a Spitfire conversion set. See here for piccies of it :-

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

As Kit says Aeroclub do a nice set, but must admit I thought it was for the Shackleton ? Can't check at the moment as I'm away from the stash
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Aeroclub does at least three sets of contra-props in 1/72 scale, the Shackleton set [12'-6" diameter], the Griffon Spitfire set [11'-0" diameter] (both of these have three blades per prop) and there's the four blade Wyvern set [13'-0" diameter].  Aeroclub also does a P-38 set which are 'counter' rotating props, putting them together would give you a contra-prop but I can't remember if they include the spinner or not.

as the prop i am looking for had a diameter of 14' i think tha a wyvern set wiold probably be best

You'll have difficulty in getting hold of Aeroclub stuff - no one stocks it, those that do have dwindling stocks as he's not supplying the trade now and ebay?  Gold dust and anything with the Aeroclub name on it goes for silly money.

May be easier to get a cheap Frog/Novo Gannet, nick the prop and then re-engine it with something else.

The Wyvern prop does have the large spinner all cast into it, although the front and back prop are separate.  Have you thought about making up your own ?  For my DH.101 project I need 14'-0" diameter props too, so I'm using a Tempest prop for the front but then using P-47 prop blades for the back one.

Here's a couple of pics as to what I'm doing.  I'm using the Matchbox Tempest Mk.II spinner and prop but I've had to carefully make the prop fit further towards the front, then I added a thickish piece of styrene card to the rear.  I'm filling in the slots that the blades have to slide in, then drilled a small hole where the rear blades will be set.

Quickboost make a very nice Hamilton Standard prop for the P-47 which has separate blades,

The blades are a fairly good match to the Matchbox Tempest prop blades but will need a slight bit of sanding to get it absolutely right.
Here you can see one of the P-47 blades slipped into the hole I drilled into the spinner

The Gannet prop is about the size of a Spitfire prop in diameter

First thing that came to mind. Alternately, see if you can get a cheap Frog or Trumpter Wyvern and nick it from there, then re-engine it.

I picked the Tempest and P-47 props because the real things turn in opposite directions, I've noticed a number of projects here and on other forums recently of other members attempts at contra-props where the two props are the same pitch and it looks a little odd.

Do you know anyone (or for that matter do you have ) an AMT or Italeri X/YB-35.  If you build the YB-35 there's a spare set of large diameter contra-props left over, which are actually 14'-6" in diameter (just measured them)
