just made a rather  :rolleyes: unique  :rolleyes:  1/80 scale Mk 22 spitfire that i don't think lee has yet!! for the show tomorrow which i believe will go down rather well with all on the table  :cheers:, except the wife.
yes the scale is right

How did you do that Lenny? Leave it soaking in the bath overnight till it shrunk?  ;D :lol:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

What amuses me is that Airfix couldn't just have any Spitfire Decoration, it had to be a "1:80 scale Spitfire Decoration".

It just had to be to scale, even if it wasn't a common one. ;D Ya gotta luv 'em! :wub:

So do you buy of these at Tescos or your LHS? I dare not let Mrs PR19 see this post or she'll be off scouring the Forest of Dean for them!

the photo is dated 2009, so if bought recently, they've been in stock for a while !

Obviously reduced in scale for quick clearance ;D

           Can I have a 1/80th Fw-190 by Italeri on my cake ???
